　　人们会注意到，凡重名者几乎都是大姓。一个单位有两个“刘伟”，如是异性，人们便以“男刘伟”、“女刘伟”相称;如果同性，便以“大刘伟”、“小刘伟”或“胖刘伟”、“瘦刘伟”以示区别。与其让别人随意加字，何不当初再增一字改为双名呢?在目前的单名热中，大姓不可热，还是冷静地取个双字名为好。只要充分发挥双名的优势，取一个既雅致又响亮的名字并不是什么难事。

　　一般地说，小姓的起名相对地要容易一些，选择的余地比大姓要大许多。一些被大姓滥用俗了的字眼儿，和小姓组合在一起，效果就大不一样。例如：风伟、褚健、库斌、萨华等。
